Trump refuses to divest or create a blind trust, hands empire to sons

Anybody really surprised that Trump isn’t going to divest his holdings to avoid conflicts of interest? No? Didn’t think so.

Seems like the MSM is having a bit of a tiff over this. Half seem to want to suck up to Trump and scold BuzzFeed for reporting on a document that’s been knocking around DC for at least a month, and the other half supports BuzzFeed.
Listen up reporters! Get your shit together. Don’t start infighting. Trump will furnish you with ample opportunities over the coming months and years to report on his many problems, conflicts, and mistakes. Do not give in to him and start attacking each other.

Trump continues to be at war with journalists, in his first press conference in 167 days he refused to take questions from CNN saying “Not you. Your organization is terrible,” Trump said. “I’m not going to give you a question, you are fake news.” Later he called BuzzFeed a “failing pile of garbage” and said the publication would “suffer the consequences” for publishing the unconfirmed report.
I have a feeling that the freedom of the press is about to get put on restriction.

So Trump can basically Tweet anything he want’s and get away with it.

Here’s the FAKE tweet.
#MerylStreep made fun of mentally challenged on late night tv here’s proof her entire speech was a fraud pic.twitter.com/vhjhEJPPsH

But as Twitter user Erik Patterson points out, the clip of Streep actually comes from the July 27, 2009 episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. She was promoting her film Julie & Julia and she was actually talking about filming with a lion in the 1985 film Out of Africa.

This is why fast tracking Trump’s nominees is a really, really terrible idea. Republicans need to give as much scrutiny to Trump’s picks as they did to President Obama’s.
In other words DO YOUR JOBS REPUBLICANS!

Remember friends…the things you say and write today may bite you in the ass down the road.
Our requests are eminently reasonable, shared by leaders of both parties. I’ll return this letter to @SenateMajLdr with the same requests. pic.twitter.com/IMT7ZtJFjV

Trump intends to ask Congress to front 8 billion dollars to start building the wall…and then sometime in the future Mexico will pay us back for it. Yeah, if you believe that I’ve got some swamp land in the Mojave Desert for sale.
The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!

So much debt, it’s not hard to imagine that those who hold his debt are going to get special treatment.
